IJABYETHU

"GET THE FACTS STRAIGHT, GET THE JAB!"
As straight forward as it is, it means exactly what it says - to encourage the Khayelitsha community to get the vaccine. This will run throughout the campaign elements. Continuation of research done on design activism. Click to see report:

The finalised logo creates a sense of community, movement  and energy. The colours suggests that it is an educational health campaign. The name “Ijab Yethu” translates in “Our Jab” in Xhosa. The name provides a sense of togetherness. The slogan “Stronger Together” emphasises on how the community can be stronger together if most of them get vaccinated.

END OF CAMPAIGN

The outcome of the campaign is that the vaccination numbers will increase, education around the vaccine should be present and distributed throughout the community. The community should feel safer and less anxious around the topic of the vaccine. The Khayelitsha community can then make informed decisions around the vaccine by using the knowledge they have learnt such as the debunking of myths and education about the vaccine.
